Shadow S3 is equipped with a brand-new vehicular high-end standard smart battery. The speed and pitch adaptive control responds to change within a millisecond. Smart battery and adaptive technology collectively maximize the endurance of Shadow S3 to 100 minutes. S3 can execute objectives in single flight operation with higher efficiency. Batteries can be hot-swapped instantly without powering OFF the S3 which further plays a pivotal role in uninterrupted operation
The S3 swiftly reaches operational sites or transitions effectively as it is capable of achieving a top speed of 27m/s. Its extended hover time enables airborne operations for over 95% of the total time
Shadow S3 adopts lightweight carbon fiber materials to meet the requirements of low-altitude operations. The maximum take-off weight of S3 is less than 7kg (including gimbal and battery). S3 can be easily transported and carried in a backpack due to small size, modular design, and no requirement for a separate tool box
S3 comes with a standard new generation of ground control station with virtual joysticks, full touchscreen control with a game-like experience, more "alive" and user-friendly UI. It uses Ziyan GCS software to operate and control the Shadow S3 and all relevant parameters of the aircraft
A stable and reliable transmission datalink, equipped with interference-resistant capabilities, facilitates the rapid transmission of operational images and data. It ensures stable connectivity even in intricate terrains
S3 demonstrates exceptional performance, particularly in crosswind conditions, boasting its wind resistance capability of level 7. S3 possesses a multi-redundant avionics design featuring integrated RTK (centimeter-level positioning accuracy) and a 4D millimeter-wave radar obstacle avoidance module, effectively guaranteeing flight safety and stability. S3 navigates smoothly over mountains and seas unaffected by extreme temperature conditions.
